Meet the Founder

Hello! I’m Sarah Gober, M.A., CCC-SLP, founder and CEO of Hope Talks and a licensed speech-language pathologist passionate about helping individuals and families build communication skills, confidence, and meaningful connections. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama and my master’s degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Houston. With over 15 years of experience in schools, clinics, and teletherapy settings across the country, I specialize in supporting individuals with social learning and executive functioning challenges, speech sound disorders, and language delays.
Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to creating inclusive spaces where individuals feel valued and empowered. I spent over a decade serving with Camp For All in Burton, TX, a community that celebrates belonging and possibility for individuals of all abilities. I’ve also had the privilege of partnering with schools and community clinics in Mombasa, Kenya, providing speech and language services, consultation, and training alongside local educators and healthcare professionals.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, and friends, traveling, and relaxing at the beach along the beautiful Emerald Coast.
At Hope Talks, I believe communication is more than words—it’s connection, confidence, and belonging. I look forward to joining you in helping your child discover their strengths and experience success.

Our Values
Curiosity & Compassion
We seek to understand each individual’s unique journey and provide support with empathy, patience, and care.
Innovation
We embrace creativity, flexibility, and collaboration to develop meaningful strategies that support growth and success.
Belonging
We create inclusive spaces where individuals feel valued, accepted, and connected as they grow their communication skills.
Integrity
We build trust through transparency, accountability, and authentic partnerships with individuals, families, and communities.
Advocacy & Empowerment
We equip individuals and families with the tools, confidence, and strategies they need to overcome challenges and reach their goals.
“As a therapist and educator, I recognize the value of partnering with families to support a child’s overall success in their communication journey. The steps they take in therapy lead to the gains they make in the real world. That growth comes from community, not individual effort. In short, teamwork makes the dream work.”
