At Hope Talks, we believe communication is about more than learning skills—it's about building meaningful connections.

Hope Talks Social was created for tweens and teens who would benefit from support with social communication, friendship development, executive functioning, self-advocacy, and confidence in everyday interactions.

Our goal is simple: help students find connection, belonging, and community.

How It Works
Connect Online
Beginning in July, students from Texas, Florida, and Mississippi will meet in small virtual groups led by a licensed speech-language pathologist.

Groups focus on:

• Social communication

• Friendship skills

• Perspective taking

• Flexible thinking

• Executive functioning

• Self-advocacy

• Problem solving

• Confidence in social situations

Through engaging discussions, games, collaborative activities, and real-life practice, students build meaningful relationships with peers who share similar experiences.
 
Build Real Connections
Hope Talks Social is designed to be more than a summer group.
As our community grows, members will have opportunities to participate in local Hope Talks Social gatherings and community adventures.

Our first community meetups are planned for Fall 2026, providing students with the opportunity to meet their virtual peers in a supportive, structured environment.

Our vision is to create a thriving community where students can connect year-round through virtual groups, local adventures, leadership opportunities, and future large-group gatherings.

Registration Process
To ensure appropriate group placement and a positive experience for all participants, families will complete an initial consultation prior to enrollment.
